The "About" page: the most visited and most neglected
The "About" page is among the most visited on any site. Before trusting, people want to see who is on the other side.
Yet it is often the most neglected: two generic lines, "dynamic, customer-focused company", no face, no story. A wasted chance right when someone was deciding whether to trust. Coldness costs more there than elsewhere.
What it should really say
Who you are, as people, not as a slogan. Why you do this work and what makes you different. Real faces, with names, so the reader knows who they are addressing. And a bridge to action: after getting to know you, the next step must be easy, write, call, book.
It is not the page to hide behind "we": it is the one to be recognized as people.
How we do it: we write "About" pages that introduce real people and turn curiosity into trust and contact.
