The first screen: what you see without scrolling
There is a portion of every page worth more than all the others: the one you see on opening, without scrolling.
In those first seconds the person decides whether they found the right place or should go back. If at the top they do not understand who you are, what you offer and why to stay, they will rarely scroll to find out. The top space is not a shop window to fill, it is a promise to keep immediately.
What to put there and what not
A line that clearly says what you do and for whom, not a vague slogan. One clear step to take. An image that reinforces the message instead of distracting from it. And no walls of text, no carousel that changes on its own before you read, no windows that cover everything on arrival. Clarity, not fireworks.
The rest of the page is for going deeper; the top is for making people stay.
How we do it: we build first screens that say right away who you are and what to do, so arrivals want to continue.
