The cookie banner: respecting people instead of tiring them

You open a site and immediately a window covers everything: accept cookies, with a big green button and "reject" hidden who knows where. The worst possible welcome.

That banner is often built to tire you, to make you click "accept" just to be rid of it. But treating people badly in the first two seconds is not a good idea, and European and Swiss rules require real consent, freely given, not extorted through exhaustion.

How to make an honest banner

Give accept and reject equal dignity, without hiding one of the choices. Explain clearly what is collected and why, without walls of legal jargon. Activate nothing before consent, as law and common sense require. And remember that with privacy-friendly analytics, an invasive banner is often not needed at all.

Respecting the choice of those who arrive is a sign of seriousness, not an obstacle to dodge with tricks.

How we do it: we build honest, compliant banners that respect people and the law without ruining the first impression.
