Product photography: online, people buy with their eyes
In a shop you pick it up, turn it, feel the weight. Online none of that: only the photo remains. That is why it matters so much.
A dark, blurry or ambiguous photo leaves doubts, and doubts slow the purchase. A clear photo that shows the product as it is, from several angles and in real use, replaces touch and trial. It is the silent salesperson that convinces or drives away.
What makes a photo that sells
Good light and a clean background, so the eye goes to the product and not the clutter around it. Several angles, because no one buys what they see from one side only. The product in its context of use, to imagine having it. And the close-up detail, the one you would look at up close in a shop. Honesty, always: a photo that promises more than the real thing brings returns and disappointment.
You do not need a big-brand set: you need care, light and truth.
How we do it: we tend product images so they show the truth in the best way, and truth shown well sells.
