Heatmaps: really seeing where people look
We often think we know how people use our site. Then we look at the real data and discover we were wrong.
Heatmaps turn visitor behavior into a picture: where the mouse goes, where people click, how far they scroll before leaving. What seemed obvious to the site's builder suddenly looks different, because real people do not follow our reasoning.
What you usually discover
That the important button is below the fold and almost no one sees it. That people click on things that are not links, expecting them to be. That a section crafted with love is skipped entirely. Uncomfortable but valuable finds: they say exactly what to move, what to make more visible, what to remove.
It is not spying, it is listening without asking. And those who listen improve faster.
How we do it: we watch how people really use the site and use that evidence to make it clearer where it matters.
